The contemporary space displays a diverse array of local and international art exhibits as well as poetry readings, live music, and more. MWFA believes in building community through art. Working with the Green+Screen project, which joins professional architects and designers with youth from the Garfield Community to develop sculpture for empty lots along Penn Ave, furthers this mission. In addition MWFA provides work experience for individuals enrolled in job skill programs through Goodwill. Through this partnership disadvantaged youth learn essential job skills while earning a competitive wage.
